Privacy Policy

1. What the operator receives

Nothing. The extension contains no analytics, no ads and no usage reporting, and there is no account. The notes you write, the videos you watch and your playback position are not sent to the operator's servers.

2. What is stored in your browser

The following is kept in the extension's storage area in your browser. Removing the extension removes it.

• Notes (text, video ID, playback time, tags, drawings and frame images)
• Round playlists
• Settings (which items are shown, colour scheme and similar)
• Your Notion token and database IDs, if you set up Notion
• A copy of the round index

3. Network connections

The extension itself connects to the following.

The extension periodically downloads a single file that holds the round times of every supported match. It does not send which video you are watching; the matching is done inside your browser. No cookies are attached to this request. The server that delivers the file keeps ordinary access records (IP address, time and similar).

api.notion.com (only if you set up Notion)

Using a token you issued yourself, the extension writes and reads your notes and playlists (text, video URL and time, tags, images) in your own Notion workspace. The operator cannot see this content. Content stored in Notion is handled under Notion's privacy policy. Without a token, this connection is never made.

Voice input for notes

Voice input runs only when you start writing a note, and can be turned off in the settings. There are two ways the speech is transcribed.

• The browser's speech recognition (Chrome, Edge): the extension uses the speech recognition built into the browser. In that case the audio is sent to the speech service of the browser's vendor (Google for Chrome) and is handled under that vendor's policy.
• Your own transcription server: if you run a transcription server on your own PC, the recording is sent only to that server. The address is limited to the same PC (127.0.0.1); another PC or an address on the internet is refused. In this case the audio never leaves your PC.

The operator never receives audio.

4. What is read on YouTube pages

The extension runs only on www.youtube.com. It reads the following and uses it only inside your browser.

• The ID and title of the open video (to check whether the match is supported, and as the heading of your notes)
• Playback position and video length (to seek to a round, and for the time of a note)
• Whether an ad is playing (the extension does not move the video during ads)

When you use drawing or frame capture, the picture of the video at the moment you act is captured as an image and attached to the note.
